We would like to introduce you to some tourist spots that you can easily get to from our hotel.

The area is home to a treasure trove of rich nature, including Lake Suwa and the Yashima Marshlands, where you can experience the four seasons of Shinshu.
In addition, Shimo-Suwa Town, which flourished as a junction of the Nakasendo and Koshu Kaido roads, is a hot spring resort with abundant hot water.
The area is also blessed with historical tourist attractions such as Suwa Taisha Shrine, and is bustling with tourists.

      Stone Buddha of Manji

      The Manji Stone Buddha is located just a short walk from Suwa Taisha Shrine Shimosha Harumiya Shrine.
      When the late painter Taro Okamoto came to Suwa Taisha Shrine Onbashira Festival in 1974,
      Upon seeing this, he praised it, saying, "I've traveled all over the world, but I've never seen anything as interesting as this."
      He became famous overnight.

      Its unbalanced appearance and facial expression are humorous, and it seems to be attracting many tourists recently.
      She is an idol in Shimo-Suwa Town.
      The name comes from the fact that the era name of Manji is engraved on it.
      It is located near Suwa Taisha Shrine Shrine (Shimosha).

      Spring and Autumn Suwa Taisha Shrine

      The Harumiya Shrine's Heihaiden and Katahaiden.
      The Kagura Hall and worship hall of Akimiya are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan.
      It is the head temple of Suwa Shrine, which has over 10,000 shrines across the country, and is visited by many worshippers every year.
      It is famous for the brave Onbashira Festival, which is held once every seven years.

      Furthermore, the bronze lion statues at Akimiya are 1.7m tall and are said to be the largest in Japan.
      In recent years, it has also become popular as a power spot.

      Lake Suwa

      It is the largest lake in Shinshu, with a circumference of approximately 15km.
      Tourist boats also operate here, making it a mecca for water leisure activities.

      Suwa beautifully maintained Fureai Nagisa Beach at Lake Suwa Park is also a popular spot.

      NIDEK Instruments Music Box Museum"Suwanone"

      Yashimagahara Marsh

      It is the southernmost highland marsh in Japan and has been designated a national natural monument.

      You can enjoy trekking and guided walks.

      Shimosuwa Onsen
